In the movie Barbie stars as Corinne, a country girl whose father was a Musketeer. She dreams of following in her father's footsteps and becoming a Musketeer. At age 17 with her Mother's blessing, her very cute cat Miette, and a letter to her father's friend Monsieur Treville, captain of the Musketeers, Corinne sets off for Paris to persue her dream. In Paris with the help of three new firends -Viveca, Aramina, and Renee - Barbie has a number of misadventures which utlimately lead to the rescue of the Prince. To help the girls in their adventures are the magical Barbie and the Three Musketeers Castle and Carriage.

Barbie & The Three Musketeers Dolls

In the Barbie and the Three Musketeers story Corinne (Barbie) is the main character. She is a 17 year old girl from the coungtry. She dreams of following her father's footsteps by becoming a musketeer. She goes to Paris to pursue this dream. Although she is initially rebuffed by Treville, the captain of the Musketeers, she is determined to succeed. She teams with three other maids from the Royal palace who also share her dream to be a musketeer. The girls learn their skills from Helene, an older maid who has all the skills of a musketeer. Corinne's chief weapon is the sword

The other Barbie dolls in the Three Musketeer series are: Viveca, Renee, Aramina, and Prince Louis.

Aramina is a graceful dancer who uses fans as her weapon. She is the first to befriend Corinne.

Viveca is the fashion queen of the four girls. She makes the ball gowns for the four Barbie dolls to wear to the ball. Viveca's weapon of choice is a pair of long ribbons.

Renee is a violinist. She produces the weapons for everyone. Her particular skill is archery and launching missiles from a necklace.

Prince Louis is the dreamy future king who interest is science. He dreams that some day man can fly and is researching a floating balloon. When he becomes king he makes the girl Barbies musketeers.
